Roles & Responsibilities 

Requirements

Promote content that is relevant and high quality through social advertising.

Develop a ‘voice’ for the brand that is authentic, appealing and draws in new fans.

Create and maintain a regular content schedule/calendar.

Develop and post content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship.

Respond to fans’ comments, questions, DMs in a manner that’s always positive, upbeat and respectful.

Keep tabs on what other brands are doing and constantly be thinking about how we can improve and grow our social presence.

Collaborate with the AYW team to ideate new campaigns and social media experiences for our fans and customers.

Brainstorm how to leverage our social media in ways that support our SEO and larger consumer reach.

Identify and build strategic relationships for the company with national, local and industry media.

 

Attend fashion shows, exhibits, and other related events to capture content and create story recaps for all social media platforms.

 

Current Social Media Platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Polyvore

High functioning laptop or PC

 

Handheld recording device or a capability smart phone

 

Means of Transportation

 

Meet monthly with founder and other contributors.

Accountability 

SKILLS

Minimum 2 years in social media management.

 

Fluent in all major social platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, SnapChat, Polyvore

 

Graphic Design

Proven track record of social media performance and growth.

 

Writing — Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.

 

Public Speaking — Talking to others to convey information effectively and precisely.

 

A roll-up-your-sleeves, can-do attitude.

Familiar with GoogleDocs, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop
